MONTFORT LATIN STUDENTS SHINE ON NATIONAL LATIN EXAM

The President of The Montfort Academy, Richard Greco, Jr., is proud to announce that almost 70% of Montfort's Latin students received awards and certificates on the 2020 National Latin Exam including three perfect scores, ten (10) Gold Summa Cum Laude awards, twelve (12) Silver Maxima Cum Laude awards, five (5) Magna Cum Laude awards and many Certificates and Ribbons for our first year Latin students! The National Latin Exam is the premier internationally recognized test designed to measure a student's accomplishments in the study of Latin language and culture.

Congratulations to all of our students and to our outstanding Latin teachers, Mr. Steven Merola, Chairman of Classical and Modern Languages, and Mr. Auguste Horner.
