Track & Field
The Montfort Academy Track & Field team competes in the NY Catholic High School Athletic Association for all meets. Athletes train with Coach Chris Malcolm, founder of the New Horizon Track & Field Club. One of our current athletes Jayla Johnson, was crowned the CHSAA 400m Champion in 2022 and the CHSAA 600m Champion in 2023, and placed 5th and 2nd in the New York State Federation Championships. Jayla currently holds the fastest times in these events in the class of 2025 in the United States.
