How to Apply to The Montfort Academy:
Montfort takes a holistic approach to admissions. TACHS scores and grades are only a part of the picture.
We put a great emphasis on getting to know the whole applicant, your interests, and your passions. We want to see a spark of curiosity, a desire to learn, and a longing to grow closer to God. If this describes you, then you are on your way to becoming a Montfort Knight.
Step 1:
Schedule an In-Person Shadow Day and Become a Montfort Knight for a Day!
Attend one of our Fall Open Houses on Sunday, October 15th from 3-6pm or Tuesday, October 24th from 6-8pm.
Step 2:
Begin your online application DUE MONDAY DECEMBER 11, 2023 (APRIL 15, 2024 FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS. INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS ALSO MUST PAY A $100 APPLICATION FEE, SEE PAYMENT BUTTON BELOW.)
In addition to taking the TACHS exam, our online application is required. International students do not take the TACHS exam.
REMEMBER, you must upload a writing sample. If you did not list Montfort on your TACHS Exam, you must email your student transcripts or report cards to mgreco@themontfortacademy.org.
Letters of recommendation from teachers and others who know you are optional but helpful. Letters from family members, employers, clergy and anyone else who can give us a comprehensive picture of your child are welcome.

For those taking the TACHS Exam, remember Code 268 for The Montfort Academy.
Step 3:
Begin your financial aid application through FACTS, an independent outside serve we use in order to determine financial need.
You will not be able to receive Montfort financial aid unless you fill out this form.
Montfort's FACTS code is 36342.
THE FINANCIAL AID PORTAL OPENS IN OCTOBER FOR THE FOLLOWING YEAR. FINANCIAL AID APPLICATIONS MUST BE FULLY COMPLETED BY DECEMBER 11, 2023. WE ARE UNABLE TO ENTERTAIN APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER THAT DATE. As a reminder, updated tax returns are a requirement for the application.
Step 4:
Wait for your Letter of Acceptance! The letter will be sent on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 by both mail and email.

SPECIAL NOTE FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS:
The application deadline for International Students is April 1, 2023. Students are required to fill out our online application and to request a family interview date. If English is not spoken by parents, then a translator should be present for the interview. It is not necessary to submit standardized exams, but if students have them already, they may submit them.
The Montfort Academy is one of the most diverse high schools in the United States. We have students from more than 40 ethnicities and nationalities. The list grows every year, and the diversity of cultural backgrounds is nowhere more on display than during our annual International Night. The Montfort Academy has also welcomed international students from countries as diverse as Italy, Spain, Mexico, Vietnam, Korea, Nigeria, Ghana, and Indonesia. Often students come to the United States with their families, but sometimes they come on their own. In a few cases, The Montfort Academy has helped international students find housing arrangements. In all cases, the application process for International students is the same as for American students. Our online application, an interview, and school recommendations are required.
Tuition and Fees for international students is $45,400 per year including living expenses that are provided to a host family for welcoming an international students.
