The C. S. Lewis Society is a selective intellectual discussion group open to students by invitation only. The purpose of the C.S. Lewis Society is to challenge academically talented and intellectually curious students in ways even beyond our already challenging classical curriculum.  Led by faculty members Mr. William Nolan (Literature and Philosophy) and Mr. Kevin Duraiswamy (Grammar, Rhetoric, and Greek), both Princeton University Class of 2019 alumni and participants in The Witherspoon Institute’s discussion groups while at Princeton, the Society will meet once every other week and will consist of approximately fifteen students chosen from the four grades.  In keeping with the wide range of interests of the namesake of the club, British man of letters C. S. Lewis, the Society discusses a range of topics in ethics, philosophy, and literature, for the sake of better understanding our lives and how we ought to live. The C.S. Lewis Society allows students to pursue these topics in a deeply meaningful and personal way over and above what is possible in the classroom.

The C.S. Lewis Society meets once every other week on Thursday from 3:30 to 4:30.
