Siobhan Schenk is a recent graduate of New York University, having studied Art History with a focus in ancient sculpture and Islamic art. She spent the 2018-2019 academic year as a student teacher of art history at The Montfort Academy, where she developed a detailed teaching unit in
French Impressionism and the Hudson River School. Previously, Ms. Schenk spent three years as an after-school teacher at Our Lady of Pompeii School in New York City, working part-time during the school year. Ms. Schenk is native to Westchester, attending the Ursuline School from sixth grade to her senior year. She was on the varsity track and field team for five years, and continued her pursuit of athletics with certifications in spinning instruction and personal training. She is deeply committed to The Montfort Academy message of faith, having come from a devoted Catholic family and being raised within the Catholic school system. Ms. Schenk is honored to become a part of the Montfort family and looks forward to all that she can learn and the impact that she can make.
