Lee Warren, PhD
Lee Warren, Ph.D. recently joined The Montfort Academy faculty as Science Laboratory Coordinator and Director, a new position that has been created in order to improve Montfort’s overall science and technology program. He is excited to teach chemistry and physics laboratories in the fall and assist with the biology labs. Dr. Warren also serves as an Associate Professor of Natural Sciences at Mercy College and has over 11 years of full-time teaching experience in college-level chemistry and physics as an Associate Professor of Chemistry at The College of New Rochelle and as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Yeshiva University. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and a B.S. in Chemistry and Mathematics Summa Cum Laude with a minor in Computer Science from Newberry College. Dr. Warren’s background is in physical chemistry, with specializations in both computational chemistry and chemical physics. He has worked as a postdoctoral researcher in laboratories at the University of Delaware and the University of Tennessee Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and he has authored or co-authored numerous peer-reviewed research publications. He also maintains an affiliation with the Institute of Advanced Computational Science at Stony Brook University.
