A graduate of Yale University, Auguste Horner is French-American and a native of New York City. He studied European History at Yale College and Classics at the Academia Vivarium Novum in Rome. During his summers in college, Auguste taught classical Latin in Rome. Mr. Horner will be teaching European History, American History, and Latin at the Montfort Academy and will be an adjunct instructor for Montfort’s schola cantorum. He also will supplement the Freshman Ancient History Great Conversation class taught by Dr. Liebowitz. Mr. Horner is a choral singer, a devotee of classical and sacred music, and a lover of the outdoors. He is excited to get to know Montfort Academy’s students and to engage with their interests.
