Renaissance Invitational

Montfort's Renaissance Invitational is a series of unique Saturday morning seminars for 6th-8th grade boys and girls that is designed to introduce young minds to the value of a classical education. The series is taught by experts and professionals in their respective fields. Previous topics have included Astronomy, Debate & Rhetoric, the Military (complete with actual cadet drills!) Athletics, Art, Music, Law, History, Latin, Chemistry, Chess, Photography, Philosophy, Paintball, and Religion. The program has sponsored field trips to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Cloisters. The Montfort Certificate is awarded to students who successfully complete the program. |
