II. UPCOMING EVENTS

A. Montfort Information Nights

In addition to our Open House many of our parents offer to host Montfort Information Nights in their homes as a way to provide prospective students and their parents with an informal setting for learning more about the academy. Students from the school often attend these events in order to provide incoming students with their own perspective as to what they may expect upon admission. Please contact the Montfort Academy for information about the dates and times of these special events.

B. The Renaissance Invitational Program for Prospective Students

Montfort's Renaissance Invitational Program is a series of unique Saturday morning seminars designed to introduce 6-8th grade students to the value of a classical education. Each series is taught by experts and professionals in their respective fields.

Previous topics in this academic experience have included Astronomy, Debate & Rhetoric, the Military (complete with actual cadet drills!), Athletics, Art, Music, Law, History, Latin, Chemistry, Chess, Photography, Philosophy, Paintball, and Religion, as well as field trips to places like the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Cloisters, and a local winery.

The Renaissance Invitational is also a good way for prospective students and their families to familiarize themselves with The Montfort Academy. It is truly a rare and unique academic experience.

Ask about our special Renaissance Invitational Program for first-time students. With
a recommendation from your child's principal, your child can receive a scholarship for the first class he or she attends.
