Reminder: SAT Prep!
Dear Parents,The SATs are almost here for our juniors, March 13th! That is why I was especially surprised to hear that only two of our students attended the final preparation session in Mathematics yesterday.
Now is not the time for our juniors get distracted or for our sophomores to shrug off preparations until next year (Did I hear someone say "basketball"??). Whether we like it not, SATs play a major role in college funding. They also contribute to certain academic skills which are needed throughout life. SAT IIs are coming up next for juniors, and the PSATs will be back next fall for the sophomores. And so students should take advantage of the two free sessions remaining.
On Friday, from 2:15 - 3:15, there will be a make-up for last week's Critical Reading preparation, which had to be postponed because of the inclement weather and early dismissal. We will finish just in time for the Drama Club's read-through. Please encourage your son or daughter to attend.
